The model, Shiyu, undergoes a rigorous preparation, practicing a Vajra sitting posture to endure the hour-plus duration required for the cart's completion.

The artist's vision for this furniture series is brought to life through a meticulous mummification process. Shiyu is expertly wrapped in tape, transforming her into an object of restrained, inhuman materialization. This method ensures both aesthetic integrity and a profound sense of bondage.

The wrapping process itself proves to be more time-consuming than anticipated, highlighting the dedication involved in crafting such a distinctive piece. The entire shoot, from preparation to final reveal, extends over two and a half hours, capturing every detail of Shiyu's transformation into this living art.
