Xixi was enjoying a quiet afternoon, engrossed in a book amidst the tranquility of the woods, when her peaceful solitude was abruptly shattered. Two menacing figures emerged, quickly overpowering her before she could even react. Rendered unconscious, she was then bound, concealed within a sack, and transported to a secluded location, setting the stage for a harrowing ordeal.

Upon regaining consciousness, Xixi found herself in a clandestine room, confronted by her captors. They declared their intent to extort a substantial ransom from her family, threatening dire consequences if their demands were not met. Overwhelmed with fear, she pleaded for her life, insisting that her family lacked the means to pay such a sum.

Her pleas fell on deaf ears. Impatient and unsympathetic, the abductors subjected her to a brutal interrogation, suspending her and inflicting pain as they pressed their demands. Despite her repeated assertions of her family's financial inability, their cruelty only intensified, leaving Xixi in a desperate struggle for survival.
